Geelong SweetheartsThe Pier Geelong is a striking landmark located right in the heart of Geelong's vibrant and modern waterfront precinct. It is an iconic venue with panoramic sweeping bay and city views. The Pier Geelong is a hop, skip and jump from many of Geelong's attractions including the beautifully restored 1892 Carousel, the famous Bollards Trail and Eastern Beach. The Pier provides a modern cuisine in an unforgettable location.

Entertainment will be provided by Geelong's Sweethearts, recently returned from their fourth European tour, playing at the Montreux Jazz Festival, Poretta Soul Festival and others promoting their eighth CD. Sweethearts play new soul – a fusion of styles based around classic soul and Motown. They take classic sounds and bring them to life in fresh, unexpected ways. What makes this success story remarkable is that they are students from Matthew Flinders Girls Secondary College here in Geelong where members can study Certificate IV in music, the highest industry based musical qualification available in any school in Australia.
